Chad always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Chad has excellent speed and uses it wisely. He reads pitchers' moves well and is capable of stealing in any situation. His defense is solid but unspectacular. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
I can't say I know what The Retired or Inactive Players were doing locking this guy up to a long term contract. A questionable call at best. Chad has below average skills, even for the low minors. One has to expect the Retired or Inactive Players will give him his walking papers before the end of the season.
