Brent Cookson
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Cookson never has been a patient hitter. Cookson always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Cookson isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. When you play Cookson you're not putting him in for his glove. Brent's arm leaves a little to be a desired.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Cookson to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
