He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him. You can expect Midre Cummings to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Cummings plays a near-flawless center fielder, making very few errors. His arm is well above average both in strength and accuracy. No longer much of a threat to steal, he's smart enough to make pitchers pay if they ignore him.
