This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Dukwane Curts to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical. Curts doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield. Dukwane's arm leaves a little to be a desired.
