Hitting
One of the nice things about Alex is that he's a real clutch hitter. Diaz never has been a patient hitter. Diaz always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Though he managed to record his share of assists, his arm is just average. Diaz isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.

2010 Outlook
Diaz flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition. Expect the Retired or Inactive Players to send him down promptly.
