Jim Dickman
Center Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. You can expect Jim Dickman to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is. It's hard to explain but Jim Dickman plays much better on the road then he does at home. It's unfortunate too, with Dickman signing a hefty contract. You gotta imagine management wants a little better relationship between him and the fans.

Baserunning & Defense
He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical. Dickman doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Dickman to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
