Pitching
He's a finesse pitcher, relying on movement and location. Distaffen has to keep the ball down, especially against lefties, or he gets hit hard and often. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Distaffen, and that's saying a lot. The one thing I must say I don't like about Distaffen is how easily rattled he gets. If he makes a mistake to a hitter and the guy winds up on second or third, you can pretty much count on the guy scoring. Dating back to his days in the minors, Distaffen has been more effective against righthanders than lefthanders.

Defense & Hitting
Distaffen has a very good move to first base, and he varies it so that he's extremely difficult to read. Distaffen is nothing special in the field. Distaffen is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Distaffen has some pop in his swing.
