Jim Eisenreich
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
In past seasons, Eisenreich has been a bit of a liability with men on base. With his slap-hitting approach, Eisenreich always hits like he already has two strikes. The results are usually groundballs or line drives to the opposite field. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Eisenreich when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. You can expect Jim Eisenreich to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
No longer much of a threat to steal, he's smart enough to make pitchers pay if they ignore him. When you play Eisenreich you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
If Eisenreich doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
