Coco Farley
Relief Pitcher | Free Agents

Pitching
He can get groundballs when he needs them in a jam. If you're going in to face Farley, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. You know, some times I think I can throw harder than Farley, and that's saying a lot. In his first taste of the majors, he has kept lefthanders in check but wasn't as effective against righties. It's hard to explain but Coco Farley plays much better on the road then he does at home. It's unfortunate too, with Farley signing a hefty contract. You gotta imagine management wants a little better relationship between him and the fans.

Defense & Hitting
His slow delivery makes him fairly easy to steal upon, but Farley helps himself by holding runners with throws to first, and with slide steps and varied deliveries to home. Farley is nothing special in the field. Farley is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Farley has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Free Agents have been known to use Farley as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Farley to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks. But if you ask me, I'll pass on Farley.
