Hitting
Fiorenza chases breaking balls down and away and can be induced to go for fastballs up and out of the strike zone. Fiorenza always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. His strength is in the gaps.

Baserunning & Defense
Fiorenza plays a near-flawless catcher, making very few errors. His arm is accurate enough. Fiorenza often has trouble scoring from second base on singles and goes from first to third only on hits to right field.

2010 Outlook
In four full big league seasons, Fiorenza already has done more than what scouts projected when he came out of college.
