Travis Fryman
Third Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Fryman always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Fryman when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
Fryman isn't a fluid third baseman, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. Fryman doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a few bases each season without getting caught very often.

2010 Outlook
If Fryman doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
