Hub Gelbert
Second Baseman | Free Agents

Hitting
Gelbert never has been a patient hitter. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. Any manager would love to have this guy on his bench. He's a perfect for pinch hitting against a lefty reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Gelbert to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
