Artie Genins
Left Fielder | Free Agents
Hitting In past seasons, Genins has been a bit of a liability with men on base. The book on Genins is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Genins always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.
Baserunning & Defense His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal. Minor league scouts have accused Genins of being a liability in the field. Runners take advantage of his weak arm.
2010 Outlook What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Genins to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
