Benji Gil
Shortstop | Chicago White Sox

Hitting
He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. Let's face facts: Gil hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. The Chicago White Sox do tend to sit Gil when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. You can expect Benji Gil to pull the ball.

Baserunning & Defense
He's an adequate shortstops who is helped by his experience. His arm is accurate enough. His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal.
