Marieve Glaizer
First Baseman | Chicago Cubs

Hitting
Glaizer always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Chicago Cubs do tend to sit Glaizer when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
Glaizer isn't a fluid first baseman, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is accurate enough. Glaizer has below-average speed and is a poor baserunner.

2010 Outlook
If Glaizer doesn't perform, the Chicago Cubs won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
