Jerry Goff
Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Goff never has been a patient hitter. Goff always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Goff you're not putting him in for his glove. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical.

2010 Outlook
One has to wonder what Jerry Goff is doing in AA. In all honesty, he could use a lot of work on the fundamentals in the low minors.
