Hitting
In past seasons, Goodwin has been a bit of a liability with men on base. I tell you, it's a real trip to watch this guy play. He gives 110% all the time... unfortunately that means he tends to run out of gas as the game wears on. Goodwin always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The Baltimore Orioles do tend to sit Goodwin when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
Aggressive on the basepaths, Goodwin is a good basestealer and takes the extra base when needed most. He's an adequate centerfielders who is helped by his experience. His arm is accurate enough.
