Hitting
The book on Gorman is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Gorman always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
Gorman isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases. Gorman doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield. Runners take advantage of his weak arm.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Gorman to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
