Lem Haselman
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players
Hitting This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Haselman always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him.
Baserunning & Defense Minor league scouts have accused Haselman of being a liability in the field. Runners take advantage of his weak arm. He has no speed at all and runs the bases conservatively.
2010 Outlook What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Haselman to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
