Jose Herrera
Center Fielder | Chicago White Sox

Hitting
With his ability to hit for average and his sound batting eye, he makes a good No. 2 hitter. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. A spray hitter in the classic sense, Jose puts the ball all over the park.

Baserunning & Defense
He's at his best in situations where a base has to be stolen, such as the late innings of close games. Herrera isn't a fluid center fielder, but he's not afraid to get dirty and gets the job done. His arm is exceptional in both in strength and accuracy.

2010 Outlook
Herrera performance in AAA is making it difficult for the Chicago White Sox to ignore him much longer. Expect his name to be on the September call-up list.
