Thomas Howard
Center Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
Howard always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. The switch-hitting Howard remains more effective from the left side.

Baserunning & Defense
Howard doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Howard you're not putting him in for his glove. Runners take advantage of his weak arm.

2010 Outlook
If Howard doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
