Pitching
If you're going in to face Hurtado, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. Hurtado has had a tendency to fall victim to big innings. He frequently leaves fastballs up in the strike zone, where they get pounded. He's trying to develop a sinker, but as of yet it's been well below par. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.

Defense & Hitting
Hurtado does an average job of holding runners. Hurtado is agile on the mound, though he makes needless errors when his concentration wanders. Hurtado is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Hurtado has some pop in his swing.

But if you ask me, I'll pass on Hurtado.
