Bobby Jacobs
Center Fielder | Free Agents

Hitting
Jacobs never has been a patient hitter. Jacobs always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. It's hard to explain but Bobby Jacobs plays much better on the road then he does at home. It's unfortunate too, with Jacobs signing a hefty contract. You gotta imagine management wants a little better relationship between him and the fans.

Baserunning & Defense
Jacobs isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out. Jacobs doesn't read balls well off the bat, misses cutoff men consistently and floats throws to the infield. Bobby's arm leaves a little to be a desired.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Jacobs to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
