Lance Johnson
Center Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
One of the nice things about Lance is that he's a real clutch hitter. Johnson usually pounds the ball into the ground to try to get the most out of his speed. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Johnson when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball. It's hard to explain but Lance Johnson plays much better on the road then he does at home.

Baserunning & Defense
He steals a few bases with his combination of quickness and a decent first step. His arm is below average but not a major weakness.

2010 Outlook
If Johnson doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
