Gabe Kapler
Left Fielder | Chicago White Sox

Hitting
Kapler always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him.

Baserunning & Defense
He gets a good jump on flyballs and doesn't shy away from the fence. His arm is accurate enough. He's at his best in situations where a base has to be stolen, such as the late innings of close games.

2010 Outlook
In three full big league seasons, Kapler already has done more than what scouts projected when he came out of college.
