Hitting
In past seasons, Kiely has been a bit of a liability with men on base. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Kiely is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat. Minor league scouts have accused Kiely of being a liability in the field. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
I can't say I know what The Free Agents were doing locking this guy up to a long term contract. A questionable call at best.
