Hank Krakauskas
Catcher | Free Agents

Hitting
In past seasons, Krakauskas has been a bit of a liability with men on base. Krakauskas always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Don't be surprised if The Free Agents's manager sits Krakauskas when you throw your ace lefty. For some reason, he just can't figure out the southpaw. It's hard to explain but Hank Krakauskas plays much better on the road then he does at home. It's unfortunate too, with Krakauskas signing a hefty contract. You gotta imagine management wants a little better relationship between him and the fans.

Baserunning & Defense
He has below-average speed and is stiff on the basepath. He's poor on a straight steal but has some success at reading pitchers and working a delayed steal. Minor league scouts have accused Krakauskas of being a liability in the field. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
I can't say I know what The Free Agents were doing locking this guy up to a long term contract. A questionable call at best.
