Chad Kreuter
Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
One of the nice things about Chad is that he's a real clutch hitter. Kreuter never has been a patient hitter. Let's face facts: Kreuter hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. Any manager would love to have this guy on his bench. He's a perfect for pinch hitting against a lefty reliever. You can expect Chad Kreuter to pull the ball. He absolutely loves playing before the hometown crowd.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Kreuter you're not putting him in for his glove. Chad's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Kreuter isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.

2010 Outlook
If Kreuter doesn't perform, the Retired or Inactive Players won't hesitate to send him down to the minors.
