Doc Langston
Shortstop | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
In past seasons, Langston has been a bit of a liability with men on base. This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. You can expect Doc Langston to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par. Langston isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Langston to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
