Mark Langston
Starting Pitcher | Retired or Inactive Players

Pitching
Langston can get into trouble with walks, and there's concern about him being able to maintain his stuff over the whole season. His fastball gets into the high 80s, but it's the sink that makes the pitch effective. His composure needs work. When Langston starts getting hit, he gets mad and loses concentration. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.

Defense & Hitting
For a lefty, his move to first base is average at best, and he has a tendency to forget about runners at second, thereby creating opportunities to swipe third. A shaky fielder, he's slow to react to grounders and often looks unsure on his throws to the bases. Langston is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Langston has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Langston as a pinch-runner on occasion.
