Dan Lehner
Second Baseman | Free Agents

Hitting
Lehner never has been a patient hitter. In past seasons, Lehner has been a bit of a liability with men on base. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He is easy prey for any righthander who can throw a slider off the outside corner. Lehner handles lefthanders who bring the ball into his quick hands much better.

Baserunning & Defense
Lehner is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat. When you play Lehner you're not putting him in for his glove. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Lehner to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
