Dale Little
Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. The book on Little is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Let's face facts: Little hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Little to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
