Hitting
One of the nice things about Kenny is that he's a real clutch hitter. Lofton always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hangs in well against lefthanders' breaking balls, and some of the pitchers he hits best are the southpaw specialists often brought in to face him.

Baserunning & Defense
Lofton plays a near-flawless center fielder, making very few errors. His arm is accurate enough. He steals a few bases with his combination of quickness and a decent first step.
