Hitting
Lombard always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever.

Baserunning & Defense
His arm and range are average, and he has a tendency to get lazy with his feet. Lombard doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a couple bases each season without getting caught very often.

2010 Outlook
It's really a shame he hasn't caught on somewhere. He might be a decent addition to someone's bench.
