Dave Magadan
Third Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
I tell you, it's a real trip to watch this guy play. He gives 110% all the time... unfortunately that means he tends to run out of gas as the game wears on. Let's face facts: Magadan hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Magadan when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
He generally takes one base at a time, though he'll take advantage if an outfielder gets lackadaisical. His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par.

2010 Outlook
Magadan flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition. Expect the Retired or Inactive Players to send him down promptly.
