Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Let's face facts: Mangan hits a lot of ground balls... and in my book, if you're slow of foot and put the ball on the ground, you're bound to get tied up in the double play. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Mangan is a poor defensive catcher. His weak, erratic throwing arm is his greatest liability. Mangan isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Mangan to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
