Hitting
Marko chases high fastballs and offspeed pitches tailing away, striking out his share of times. During the last two years, he has become more patient and gotten better loft on the ball. The statistics don't lie: Marko gets most of his home runs against lefties. One thing's for sure, Cain Marko is a dead-pull hitter.

Baserunning & Defense
He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. He's also one of the better throwing third basemen in the league. Marko isn't fast, but he's a heady baserunner who rarely gets thrown out.
