Pitching
The Retired or Inactive Players hope he can work on his control a little bit. Every once and a while one slips away from him and either ends up at the backstop or in the right field bleachers. When his release point drops below three-quarters, his fastball tends to hang in the strike zone. But Marquez, do us a favor. Stop throwing that changeup. It looks like a beachball. He's almost as effective against lefthanders as he is versus righthanders.

Defense & Hitting
His pickoff move is only fair. Marquez is nothing special in the field. Marquez is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Marquez has some pop in his swing. Interesting sidenote, The Retired or Inactive Players have been known to use Marquez as a pinch-runner on occasion.

2010 Outlook
But if you ask me, I'll pass on Marquez.
