Otto Mattox
First Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. The Retired or Inactive Players do tend to sit Mattox when the opposing team throws a lefty. It's no secret he can't touch the left-handed breaking ball.

Baserunning & Defense
His glovework leaves a lot to be desired. Otto's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Mattox isn't a good baserunner. He doesn't get good jumps on steals nor runs sharp routes around the bases.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Mattox to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
