Darrell May
Starting Pitcher | Houston Astros

Pitching
May's control is among the best in the game. His slider is sharp and breaks both horizontally and vertically. He can hit 90 MPH but is too smart to try to get his fastball past most hitters. He attacks lefties and righties with similar success.

Defense & Hitting
Basestealers rarely test him. He fielded his position creditably. May is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but May has some pop in his swing.

2010 Outlook
I really like what this guy brings to the table.
