Dave McNally
Starting Pitcher | Toronto Blue Jays

Pitching
McNally is a control pitcher; when he's on he has pinpoint control. He's got a really stong arm, so he can blow it by you on occasion. His curveball is solid; he throws it better than your average starter. His fastball is just average, and therefore he relies heavily on placing it in different parts of the strike zone or setting it up with his curveball. McNally also throws a screwball. This man owns lefties. Put it this way, if your lineup is full of them, you might want rethink your lineup.

Defense & Hitting
McNally does a good job against the running game. He's quick to the plate and holds runners well. McNally is nothing special in the field. McNally is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but McNally has some pop in his swing.

2010 Outlook
McNally has arguably the best stuff in baseball.
