Joshuamich McShane
Center Fielder | Seattle Mariners
Hitting He has a very quick bat and can adjust to a pitch's movement as well as any hitter in the game. He's still a singles hitter at heart, and knows how to shorten up and protect the plate with two strikes. During the last two years, he has become more patient and gotten better loft on the ball. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. McShane uses the entire field and typically produces a couple of hitting streaks of 10 or more games during a season.
Baserunning & Defense McShane doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often. His attention sometimes wanders in the field, especially when the Seattle Mariners are out of the race. Runners take advantage of his weak arm.
