Pitching
His fastball gets into the high 80s, but it's the sink that makes the pitch effective. Mimbs also has a decent changeup. His composure needs work. When Mimbs starts getting hit, he gets mad and loses concentration. If you're going in to face Mimbs, better be wearing plenty of protection. He's wild. He traditionally fares better against lefties.

Defense & Hitting
Mimbs's move to first base is average. He isn't especially quick off the mound but generally fields his position adequately. Mimbs is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Mimbs has some pop in his swing.
