Hitting
The book on Moore is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. You can expect Dale Moore to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
His speed is below average and he's not a threat to steal. Moore is a poor defensive catcher. He isn't very mobile or adept at blocking balls in the dirt. His arm is accurate enough.

2010 Outlook
What The Free Agents was thinking when they signed Moore to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
