Mickey Morandini
Second Baseman | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. Morandini never has been a patient hitter. Morandini always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
He doesn't get good jumps on grounders, but his routes are fine and his hands aren't bad. His arm is accurate enough. Morandini is an intelligent baserunner with average speed, but he's not a basestealing threat.

2010 Outlook
Morandini flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition. Expect the Retired or Inactive Players to send him down promptly.
