Tom Muich
Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
He has the mental discipline to handle clutch situations. The book on Muich is that you can knock the bat out of his hands with an average major league fastball. Muich always has been a line-drive hitter who uses the entire field. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency.

Baserunning & Defense
Muich is a poor defensive catcher. His weak, erratic throwing arm is his greatest liability. He has no speed at all and runs the bases conservatively.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Muich to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
