Pitching
Nye can get into trouble with walks, and there's concern about him being able to maintain his stuff over the whole season. Nye also has a decent changeup. His stuff becomes less sharp as he gets into the late innings. Never a hard thrower, Nye now has games when he can't hit 85 MPH with his fastball. He attacks lefties and righties the same way.

Defense & Hitting
Nye fields his position well. Nye's move to first base is average. Nye is a surpisingly good hitting pitcher. And I'm not sure you can say this about a pitcher, but Nye has some pop in his swing.

2010 Outlook
Nye performance in AAA is making it difficult for the Chicago White Sox to ignore him much longer. Expect his name to be on the September call-up list. I really like what this guy brings to the table.
