Maggilo Ordonez
Center Fielder | Pittsburgh Pirates

Hitting
He has a very quick bat and can adjust to a pitch's movement as well as any hitter in the game. Ordonez is an explosive righthanded hitter who thrives in key situations. One thing's for sure, late in the game you're glad you have him on the field. He's still a singles hitter at heart, and knows how to shorten up and protect the plate with two strikes. During the last two years, he has become more patient and gotten better loft on the ball. He hits righthanders and lefthanders with equal consistency. His strength is in the gaps.

Baserunning & Defense
Ordonez plays a flawless center fielder, making very few errors. His arm is accurate enough. Ordonez doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often.

2010 Outlook
Ordonez is in charge when he's at the plate.
