Mark Parent
Catcher | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. You can expect Mark Parent to pull the ball.

Baserunning & Defense
When you play Parent you're not putting him in for his glove. Mark's arm leaves a little to be a desired. Parent often has trouble scoring from second base on singles and goes from first to third only on hits to right field.

2010 Outlook
Parent flat-out isn't ready for this level of competition. Expect the Retired or Inactive Players to send him down promptly.
