Horace Pick
Left Fielder | Retired or Inactive Players

Hitting
This guy can't hit a watermelon with a lampost. He has a natural lift to his swing, which produces few groundballs. Even though you might not start him, he's not a bad guy to have on your bench for the tough left-handed reliever. You can expect Horace Pick to hit the ball to the opposite field... that's just the kind of hitter he is.

Baserunning & Defense
Pick doesn't have great speed, though he reads righthanders' moves well enough to steal a handful of bases each season without getting caught very often. When you play Pick you're not putting him in for his glove. His biggest problem in the field simply has to be his throwing arm... it's well below par.

2010 Outlook
What The Retired or Inactive Players was thinking when they signed Pick to a long contract, is beyond me: this guy flat-out sucks.
